We are enjoying our device so far even if we have not found any high dollar. It has been a treasure hunt going with neighbor kids. We have found a lot in our hunt. Lots of nails, 17 cents, an old bottle cap, saw blade and a few miscellaneous items are among our collection from the hunt. We are anxious to explore the mountains and rivers in search for gold since our product is water proof.

A few weeks ago I made my purchase for the Garret 1139070 Ace 250 Metal Detector. With beaches all around my location in Crete, all I needed was a metal detector. I initially enjoyed the services of a bounty hunter metal detector but it never worked well for me. This made more look for a relatively costly metal detector. My new search landed me at this product the Garret 1139070 Ace 250 Metal Detector. With its simple way to assemble it gave memories of how I was hitting every coin with my Bounty hunter.

I am quite sure with this admirable product I am going to clean the beach. It is very sensitive to coins. We have already found 2 Euro coins which are less worn out moreover 1 Euro is about 2$ and 50 cents. It differentiates coins and beer tops and has a good reading depth. This helps saving a lot of time. I clearly find the difference between this and my old metal detector. Indeed you receive the best out of what you pay for.

Fisher F2 Metal Detector:

This product is vastly designed with a greater degree of sensitivity and performance. Before going to the fields, parks or beaches you need to decrease the sensitivity. If you cannot reduce the sensitivity it will land you in many fake signals and decreased stability.

Garrett Ace 350 Metal Detector:

This metal detector is designed using lightweight materials making it convenient to use. It works perfectly well and like many other detectors you will have to dig trash here and there. This digging for trash will only come to an end once you fully learn and understand this product and how it works.

Already I am lucky to have found 3 pieces of silver and a 1987 Handmade Navajo Silver Bolo tie made by Willie Yazzie. The sweet part of it is researching and learning the history of your findings.

Pros:

Shipping was quite so fast and the product was very perfect by design and performance. Batteries were included and the machine generally is light and appealing. The headphones are nice and comfortable. Generally my product is perfectly awesome, I just love it.

First tiny Con:

My product is very sensitive. It is also kind of hard to point if something is 2 inch or 8 inch or more. I think this is so since the ground has natural metals for instance I found a nail on a same spot. This coil seems to detect minerals around the coil and below it. This happens all time for instance one time it read 2 inches and when I dug I found nothing. I am new to this venture so I bet this happens even to the experts.

Second tiny Con:

I also find the screw at the bottom of the coil weak and loose. I have to tighten it all the time but it usually loosens when I lay down the detector and when the coil moves. But all these are manageable.

Garret AT Pro Metal Detector:

To me this detector is not suited for everyone especially the impatient people who do not like reading manuals. This machine will work well for those who want to learn it first before using this product. This is my 8th metal detector I have owned and used. I am so proud of it and I recommend it to anyone willing to experience metal hunting on a new level.

Pros:

The Garret AT Pro Metal Detector will take your research and hunt to the extremes. It is great for land lovers as well as under water surfaces of about 10 inches below. I have used it in both environs and recovered a lot jewelry hat people have dropped. It is informative and has a superb display. It has an iron audio feature that minimizes the amount of trash you dig. This helps to avoid digging deep for items like bottle caps, quarters etc.

It has the ability to switch from Standard to Pro. Standard mode is like the ACE series from Garrett. PRO mode goes deeper and provides a better audible ability to tell you what is down there. This product has such features like an adjustable volume on the stereo land headphones. It has a custom mode that saves your settings after switching off the machine. It is readily available at an affordable price. This product will make this venture a success in any location you visit.

Cons:

Once you purchase this product it does not come with water proof headphones. Using the screen under lowlight is a problem as it also does not use a standard headphone. If they made it using rechargeable batteries it would have been great instead of the AA batteries they provide. Even though the price could have shot up a little bit but it would have been great. The Garret AT Pro Metal Detector is an amazing high performance product.

I am a proud owner of this detector. I already have found one silver coin with it. After carrying out some research about the best detector, my eyes landed me on this. I carried enough research from New England Detectors before making this purchase. It has done more compared to my Bounty Hunter 101. My area has a problem with soil mineralization. (red clay) All I needed was a detector with a manual ground balance. This pushed me to step into the 400$ category. With detectors such as Fisher F-4, F-5, Tesoro Vaquero, Teknetics Gamma, , Bounty Hunter 505, Platinum, etc. I preferred this one because of the name Minelab and the forum posts about its ability to detect targets that other detectors miss in mineralized soils. Nothing makes your detector more complete like the VDI numeric ID system.

I have this detector and I have been using it since 2007. My friend had purchased a relatively low priced metal detector but its performance was low as well. I have been using mine all this time and it is in good condition and above all I love it so much.  My friend’s detector could hit targets and make sounds but upon digging nothing could be found. People often speak ill but this quality metal detector but that should not be a matter to you. All you have to know is the moment you set your discriminator to only detect gold, then be ready to dig up for junk as you make regular hits. Such sets are also poor as they reduce chances of missing a hit by up to 87% which may be relatively deeper.

For 6 months I have been using this product and I truly admit that it is excellent. I do not regret any coin I spent on this metal detector. While I was doing my research I came across reputable distributors such as Regton as opposed to others that are not well known like Argos or Maplins. So, if you are yet to make your purchase it is better to buy from a reputable and authorized dealer. My Coinmaster performs pretty fine in all depths and different ground textures.

It impressed me when it could detect the small old UK half pence. I usually carry out my hunt in woodland and the ground is fairly good and my machine works remarkably. I never liked the product since it has no low battery warning. One day my detector went silent all of a sudden until I had to replace the batteries. It is a minor thing to add since the quality is good and we would be more proud of this product. All in all am a happy user of this product as it price is quite pocket friendly and it is easy to use as well.
